I saw this a few weeks ago when collecting the wheels and it does look Love
Black wheels look good on most colours and your car is no exception matey Thumbs up

As for bolt caps, they usually just pop over the existing bolts but the bolts need to have a hex head of whatever size ie 17mm / 19mm which is fine for most bolts but tuner bolts and most locking bolts are round so the caps dont fit Sad
I looked into this when I sprayed my cyclones black a few years ago Smile

However, you can get black wheel bolts as well, google the size and lengh you need and you should be able to find some easy enough Smile

Cheers mark mate, yeah I must admit I like your car aswell, minus the headlights but I can see your reasoning as p1 lights seem gash lol

Looks good Sam. Cool Not usually a fan of black wheels but it works. Can't make my mind up, if I like wind deflectors or not. I doubt I will be putting any on a 306... If indeed I get another.

hes got angel eyes on it petey, lovely car to be fair.

only the backbox is getting changed mate, got a powerflow 3.5 rolled out tip to go on as i prefer the round tailpipe to oval.

yeah i wasnt sure how black wheels on china was going to go but now there on i love them Smile

Hi Pete, yes thats's the one, and had the same lights on back in 2009 when on the pugrun,
Here's what it looked like at the end of the day and still looks pretty much the same now...



It's more about the light they produce over looks but I don't think they are the worst I have ever seen Smile

Sam, got the tyres fitted today and will be fitting the wheels either tomorrow or at some point next week depending on the weather.

I got four new tyres but only replaced two as the rears are still useable, fot all four wheels rebalanced as well.

I also spent a bit more time cleaning the hub faces up and touching in the bits of kerbing and also ended up getting some new spigot rings for them as well LOL







will put some pics up when they are fitted and won't hijack your thread with them! LOL

When they are clean from a distance they do look white tbh

The insides are a white/cream colour.
I have seen quite a few silver aftermarket wheels which have this colour on the inside of the wheel.
White and black wheels are usually the same colour inside and out Smile

The insides won't be that colour for long though I'm sure! LOL

Just had RS4 clutch fitted along with new engine mounts. Bought some x5 wheels for it too. Love it but i feel i need a 306 again. A GTi6 has been something i always wanted from when i can remember getting into cars and still yet to have a charged 6 LOL think one may be on the cards soon
