Any idea how much these cost when done as an insurance job?

Some lovely Audi driver figured he needed to be in the outside lane on the M4 more than I did. I must admit that the grass on the central reservation didn't feel all that comfortable so I didn't try and fit my whole car on there.

So what's the chances of a new passenger wing + possible front bumper and cyclone causing my 6 to be a write off?

He didn't admit liability (he apparently never saw me so I was driving too fast) so I suppose this will drag on forever?

If using new gen pug parts, as well as labour and other materials, i reckon it would write it off from an insurnace point of view.

Get some pics up of the damage as it will give us an idea of how bad it is.

you could just try a wing from another Astor 306 being broken?
and another cyclone afternoons work and hopefully there shouldn't be too much of a color difference Smile

Have to see what the insurance company say - tbh I want the other f**ker to pay for it. Stupid arse almost caused a pile up.

No one else stopped - though 3 lanes slowed down a fair bit while I had a tank slapper.

good luck mate insurance may just try go 50/50 or see if you can strike a deal with him to pay your damage or both of your insurances will go up! regardless!

you get a contact number etc for him?

Got contact details - my insurance seemed fairly confident as that he'd pulled into the outside lane while I was there that he was 100% liable.
