Heat usaully gets them off.Best option if they are well stuck is to buy some new track rods and fit them at the same time ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

Take your new track rod ends to the garage doing the tracking. Oxy-Acetylene soon gets them off.________________________________________ Ex SC-6Now in a Megane R26 |

Can distort the track rods too if too much heat used ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

Unscrew the track rod itself from the rack and work on the bench with heat, penetrating fluid etc________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |

I would rather have straight track rods to be honest, regardless of whether it was being tracked afterwards. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Thanks to an idiot tracking the car who had no idea how to use the oxy-acetylene, and put far too much effort into trying to undo the seized TRE. ________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |
