After a fresh rebuild the car is back on the road only to come across yet with another problem.

Two days after the rebuild (HG) and driving back home the "STOP" light came on. To be honest i shat my pans only to get a short message seconds later in the Multi function display (thank god it has one) saying "Braking Fault". Brakes are fine new pads at the front petal tight as always brake fluids new and full. The problem comes and goes for no apparent reason only to p**s me off. Drove the car to a friend of mine plug the tester and it return a fault at the front right ABS sensor. Sensor replaced problem still there. All plugs are fine brakes work perfect even under hard braking but no explanation what triggers the "STOP" light.

Any ideasDunno

Is it possible that the problem has to do anything with the head being of for the rebuild?

Issues with the cooling fans have been known in the past to cause the "STOP" light illuminating. Yes

It could be that removing the head etc and fiddling with the sensor plugs on the thermostat housing has caused this, although it wouldn't explain why it actually reads a fault with the braking system itself...
