It will depend on exactly what offset you're running. I was originally running ET16 which is supposed to be ok, but I had to trim 2mm off my spacers to bring it to ET18 to get a proper running clearance. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

Ok, here is what I am thinking...When I first turned my spacers down 2mm, I did it to every spacer, so they were now 24mm instead of 26mm. However, when I fitted the big brake kit, the bell of the new setup is 8mm thick in comparison to the 6mm thick original disc mounting hub. Therefore, my front spacers I turned down a further 2mm to make them 22mm, leaving the rears at 24mm, so the track of the vehicle was unaffected front to rear. I wonder seeing as you have a large brake kit as well, if someone has turned the spacers down which fit the front wheels to keep the track the same now that the larger bell has been fitted. This can be the only answer really... ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

I've got some oz 26mm spacers. If I keep my oz's I'll need them, however if you want them pm me an offer and I'll consider splitting my setup. |

I believe your right as usual Stanley, possibly he has them trimmed to suit, or maybe it just a freak occurrence ________________________________________ 306 1.8 xs moonstone blue-SOLD306 gti6 supercharged china blue-SOLD 406 coupe D9 3.0 V6-SOLD |

He had kad but swapped them to a hi-spec set up iirc. Don't think the spacers were turned as the black in colour but the black was still there making me think they wasn't turned down. I wonder if there is a couple of mm variation in the wheel offset. May be worth giving tom a buzz and seeing what the score is with them. Although its kind of irrelevent as the wheels now fit. And look superb might I say. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |
