Hi folks does anyone have any tips on setting up spax adjustable dampers to obtain a decent handling gti6 ? They were fitted to the car when I brought it. and when I first drove it with the dampers set to soft/fast rebound in the wet it would oversteer very easily in the wet even at 15 mph round a small island So I adjusted the dampers to make them firmer/slower rebound and now I get under steerDunno What sort of ratio should I have I would like some oversteer as the 306 is famous for this as standard I just don't want it to occur so easily when shutting off at 15 mph lol
Just to add it has firestones all round with 36psi
All drop links are good and anti roll bars are good
Eibach springs near standard ride height (slightly nose diving) as they do
Ideas and experience is appreciated cheers lads

In my experience Spax are rubbishYes

Had them on my Cosworth and swapped over to Konis with Eibach's and was a totally different carThumbs up

Got the same combo on my Rallye now,and feels goodWink

Also fitted a brand new Spax suspension kit to my 309 Gti and did not like them on that eitherDunno
And the adjuster on the rears rusted up and snapped off within 12 months, and they were covered in grease tooAngry
