Hi Guys,

I would like to improve my suspension. First of all, this is what I have right now:

Front:

-AST Sportline I. coilovers
-AST 2d adjustable top mounts
-RichW roller bearing wishbone bushes
-upper/lower strut brace
-adjustable drpolinks

Rear:

-AST Sportline I.
-hybrid ARB
-polyurethane filled beam mounts

1. I would like to reduce the body roll a bit. The balance of the car is great, but compared to other cars round the track mine seemed a bit like a boat LOL

2. The ride height is set to the normal VTS level - I think this is an other part where I could make an improvement. The car is a bit like it's on high heels.

I think a 30mm drop would not hurt! But on the other hand I don't want to ruin the way it handles!

3. Camber. Front seems to be OK, but could do with a bit more neg. camber. The rear on the other hand definetely needs more.

Following pictures showing the rear left tyre:

And everything has to remain a bit comfortable, as the closest track is 180km away from me, meaning I would have to do at least 360km in the car when going to trackdays.

Awaiting suggestions LOL

If you search for negative camber trailing arms, I think you might find some talk about that, but no how-to's.

I'm sure the reduced ride height will lessen the effect of the body roll too?

Yep, I think the same. Will measure the height of the car and compare with the originsl figures, but I'm pretty sure it's now on standard height.

Bridgecraft engineering's AllanAllen on here should be able to sort you out with negative camber trailing arms, they can machine the bores of the shafts at the same time so you can fit a 30mm rear arb.
As soon as you lower it body roll will reduce.
Your trailing arms have different toe in to 6 arms so make sure you get the same type modifiedNinja

Cool

So lowering is deffo on the list. I will not go any lower than -30mm. As I don't want to mess wth the roll centre.

Stiffer torsion bars would make it necessary to revalve the ASTs at the rear, right?

Btw. - maybe a dumb question - but I've tried to lower the front in the past, but eventhough I turned the lower spring pan down the ride height did not change. How is this possible? Is this anything to do with the shock absorber's internals?

ask AST, depends how stiff you go

only if the spring was preloaded against the top mount and extending the damper fully.
