I have a cherry 306 rallye. Just after a quick answer is the cheery colour solid or does it have a clear coat? ________________________________________ Previous china gti6 and Rallye owner. Now a proud Astor Gti 6 owner. Missing he BMW already... |

Been talked about on here before ![]() Sideskirts, mirror caps, grille and hockey sticks are solid colour, and can be cut back to bright red ![]() Rest of car is laquered ![]() So your pink paint will stay pink unless you have a respray ![]() ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

Depends on if its had any paint since leaving factory, the way i check is with fine wet n dry put a scratch along a panel (fine i mean fine enough to polish out so 1800+ grit) and look at what you have on the paper if its white then you base and clear if its red then you have a solid ________________________________________ All South Wales Members Click HereTeam Supercharged Black RALLYE ™ (Click Here for Build Project) MY EBAY ITEMS 07943066306 |

Why does it seem to only effect the red cars? Isi t something to do with the Pigments in red or something reacting to sun? ________________________________________ andrew315rawson@live.co.ukMoonstone phase 7 gti6 My Project thread: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=119992&page=1 |

It's because peugeot are gash. In fairness Allred cars fade. Must be the pigments. Although Diablo never fades... ________________________________________ Previous china gti6 and Rallye owner. Now a proud Astor Gti 6 owner. Missing he BMW already... |

It seems to be all non metallic paint that fades. I've seen a few yellow Leon's and they have all had bad paint fade.My mates old 309 was pink he found that polishing it everyday kept it shiny, he soon got bored of that idea ![]() ________________________________________ |
