theres alot of money in the fuel kits for turning red derv into clear, although it f**ks your injectors and seals after maybe 3months using it,

don't they use Sulfuric Acid to strip the colour?
just remember a program on it sounds like a lot of bother! just get them to run on Vege oil! Smile

What happens if you have just bought a car, have filled it with white as per normal but the previous owner had been running on red, there is no way you would ever know about it till they dipped you. I suppose with reciepts to prove you have been filling up you should be fine.

Not really, unless it was a company car and you had registration and mileage printed on the receipts...

Otherwise you could just produce receipts you had been collecting from filling another one of your vehicles. Yes

But what if you had just bought the car, say last week and done maybe 100 miles in it, what then surely you cannot be accountable of what the last owner did did not do.

Maybe if it was that recent...Dunno
However, when you sell a car you are not required to fill in the current mileage so VOSA wouldn't know exactly how many miles you have done as opposed to the previous owner.

i always write it in the box when i sell a car i always send docs away myself as someone years ago never an my mum an that got tickets an was a nightmare sorting out!!

Hope they dont head my way Whistle loads of dodgy buggers round here. Most petrol stations here have 2 red pumps and dont even question you when buying the stuff Laugh my ass off
