Hi,
I've got ph1 s16 dont have a/c and recently my fan blower dial has stopped workin, i still get hot and cold adjustment just no speed,
I've checked all fuses and I've tested the blower motor, I know there is a resistor could it be that? If so is it hard to change?
Can anyone help please
Cheers

Is the speed control knob actually connected to the resistor behind? If it is slightly broken and you turn it, it will not operate the mechanism behind.

Best thing to do, is to whip the dials back out and check to see the resistance changes on the resistor as you turn the pot through its different positions. If that is all ok, then trace the wiring down to the blower motor to see where the problem lies. You should be seeing the same resistance at the blower motor end as you do at the resistor end if all is well.
Try using the control with no knob attached to see if the system is working and it is in fact the dial that's broken. Wink

I've found that theres no resistance going to the dials so checked the wires well as much as I could see without pullin to much apart and they seem fine
