After jet washing half the paint off my side skirt I decided to remove it and paint it up. Just wondering tho, as its back to the plastic and the paint has a noticeable ridge, should I paint strip the whole thing and start again or just wet and dry it flat and re-primer and paint over that. Just dont want a 'dip' in the paint, if you see what I mean.

And also on the front bumper, is there any way of removing the black plastic grille, seems to be bonded in?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Best to rub the whole skirt down and do it all, if one bit of paint has come off how pong will the rest last?...

The black lower grille on the bumper? The grille on my spare bumper looks plastic welded in to me. Looks factory too. Haven't looked at the one on my car. Carl's project thread of the blue Rallye shows grille plastic welded back into the bumper after painting.

Plastic welded in mate, looks like it should be clipped in, indeed it would make it a lot easier to dismantle, but you know Pug and their bizzare french logic!

bit of heat dismantles them no problem. you can buy the plastic welding guns and kit for not much anyway
