right i got icv from pugs

fitted that bit better... idling at bout 2g now... stuck a 17m bolt in the tube. and it idles perfect...

pulled out that blue powersteering sensor bt still was same

looked on auto data and second step for high idling would be some evapourotor valve? on driverside.... wood that effect it??

When you fit a new ICV, you should turn the ignition on so you hear the fuel pump prime wait 5 seconds and turn it off again.

Repeat this procedure about 10 times before cranking the engine. The reason is because everytime you do it the ICV moves a little further out and initialises until you've done it a few times and it is in the right position.

I suspect you need to do this a few times to initialise it so your high idle will disappear. Smile

Check you have got 12v+ going to your ICV with Ign onYes

Had exactly this problem on my 309 when converted to Gti6 powerWink

Have you had to chop up and join looms etc?

If not could well be the big relay behind the battery box,as this supplies the live to the ICVThumbs up

Lose the txt talk pal,or people will not bother trying to help youNo

Check voltage at ICV when new relay fitted,if you have not got +12v with ign on ICV will not work, could be a ECU problem too.
