My steering wheel is really quite worn, shiny smooth with a rough patch appearing on the right side

Will any of the 306 steering wheels with airbags fit i.e the HDi one etc and or any of the other peugeot range like the 207 or 307?

appreciate any help, mines a Phase 2.5 or so I am told if that helps

HDi one will fit. Yes

However, I don't think it will be leather although I maybe wrong. Unsure
Stick a thread in the "Wanted" section, there are bound to be people who have them left over from breaking etc...

I'm going to get mine retrimmed i think. Or rather im going to get another wheel as spare, get it retrimmed in proper leather and fit that.
Even a new one won't last too long before it will turn to **** because if the type of leather on them.
