because if you put it in front of the tank there's no chance you can drive that thing on anything but an airport runway ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

RetroPug wrote: I quite like that! What is it mounted to? I can obviously see one end is on the bottom of the bumper, but the other? Looks like you've got a smaller bit further back? I drilled some extra holes in the two bits of steel that the spare wheel cage used to pivot on and bolted some ally flat to them, then bolted a bit of ally angle to them which the undertray then bolts up on to. I'll put up a pic next time I'm at my pc to explain it better. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

I was literally about to do the same thing with the same type of roofing sheet lmao. Only I was thinking of securing it round the beam tube. Stopping the air going in the void of the wheel well should work in theory. ________________________________________ Black power baby! Yeah, it's plenty strong enough for the job, and weighs next to nothing. I reinforced mine on the top side with some braces, using some stuff from a fibreglass kit to secure it all. I've got some ally flat strips which have been epoxied to the sheeting where it mounts too to help strengthen it and spread any load, plus some little aluminium tubes where the mounting bolts run through to prevent it crushing.I'm sure i probably put more detail about it in my project thread. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |
