hi all i was doing some work near the abs pump the other day and i disconnected the abs unit and since then the light has illuminated on the dash board to took the car to my local garage where it was plugged in in hope to reset the error but no communication can be obtained with the abs any ideas on how do remove the light on the dash ?? without removing the bulb as the system was fine en till i messed and disconnected the unit thanks guys ??????Dunno

Make sure that you have reconnected it properly. Yes

The ABS faults usually go once you drive down the road and there is no fault present. If I were you I would disconnect the ABS unit, disconnect the battery for 10 mins, then reconnect the ABS unit and finally reconnect the battery.

This should hopefully clear the fault. Thumbs up

Thanks matey ok il give that a try il disconnect the batt n double check the connection for abs pump would you know where to find the fuse for it as I don't have the fuse label book with the car ? So I can't check them eather

This very light stayed lit on mine for about 15 minutes, whilst queuing at Heathrow T4 short stay car park spiral going upwards in a bend last Sunday. But after about an hour returning back to the car, it's disappeared apart from seeing it flashing when starting the car(which is normal?).

Will need to check the fuses over the weekend and try Stan's method if the problem persists. :thumsbup

Can the Back wheel lifting cause it to come on for a while?

Back wheel on minrs been up a bit. No abs issues though.
