I have a pair of ebc grooved/dimpled discs on the front of my 6, i was told that they are fitted the wrong way round.. on the driverside the groove is curving back towards the rear of the car. Is this correct or a complete balls up? LOL

the grooves bring the air into the middle of the disc and s**t away. think of it that way

the disc above looks right, depends on the vanes ultimately but that looks right Unsure

here, air hits the disc somewhat like this. given it's hidden by your wheel anyway but it ultimately does help. a bit. on a ferrari at Oulton Park

LOL

It's only the vanes that are important - if the vanes are straight in the disc it matters not a toss.

Top of the groove touching pad first is allegedly better for feel, bottom of the groove first allegedly better for pad wear.

His grooves may not even touch the end of the disc.

I was always told that the grooves should be throwing the gas out from the disc ie center to outside edge.

So as the pictures shows!

Pictures above are correct. Spoke to Tarox directly and asked them, they confirmed. People think it seems as if the cutouts should be biting into the pads, but actually they're meant to be throwing out old pad dust and hot air.
