It's only the top part thats damaged where the crane chain has caught it. Any idea if these can be seperated or do I have to buy a whole new part?
Cheers in advance

When putting engine back in I have damaged the pipe that goes from the cylinder head covers (right hand side) down to the oil filter area. On peugeot Box I think the part no. is 1192 Q3 or 1192 S2.It's only the top part thats damaged where the crane chain has caught it. Any idea if these can be seperated or do I have to buy a whole new part? Cheers in advance ________________________________________ China's ALIVE !!! |

its Q3 and is only available as the complete unit, found on the J4R engine as well as the RS.£44+vat you can pull it apart but risk damaging the plastic bit. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

The top section can be pulled off easily, just pull it straight up so you dont damage the plastic joiner.________________________________________ Ryan |

Whenever I change an engine, I always remove this pipe first because of exactly the problem you have described. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
