CTS from Peugeot costs around £18, lambda sensor get one from any factors that sell Bosch as the genuine one is a Bosch one in a Peugeot box. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

there will be a few differences, very early 306's had two 2 pin plugs, but all gti6's had one 4 pin plug, the length of the lead varies too, two lengths IIRC.you can get the Bosch ones quite cheap if you don't mind a bit of soldering/crimping as you can get them minus the plug, its about £25 more for a direct fit. ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

£170 for the lambda, it used to be £100 and I thought that was expensive then. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

£86 I think for a direct fit one from ECP, best to give them a call as their listings aren't showing them for a 306 ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

MPG is not good around town I'm afraid, its a 2.0 ltr petrol at the end of the day Mine just clears 30mpg on my commute which is 40 mile round trip, does get booted a fair bit But round town when I'm off work its not much over 20mpg To put it in perspective though a bloke at works M3 shows 13mpg round town! ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

Does your car run okay though? No other misfires, hesitation etc other than what you mention as that sounds more like the Icv needing a clean or replacing Imo.I wouldnt automatically be blaming sensors for bad Mpg without any other symptoms suggesting that they are causing a problem. Loads of things can affect your Mpg, have you checked your spark plugs are in good condition? These can also be inspected to give you clues as to if it's running rich or lean etc. Exhaust blowing is also another thing that will seriously affect your Mpg even if it is only a tiny leak. Also worth checking condition of airfilter etc, this could need changing or cleaning depending what you have fitted. Unless one of those sensors are actually f**ked then your money could be much better spent on a good full service. ________________________________________ Ryan |

Have you checked to see if you're towing a large trailer everywhere? Have you removed the galleon sail from the roof yet? Some P2's came with these from the factory. |

Ive now changed the CTS and havent done enough miles to see if its made a difference. I havent seen the hesitance/like its gonna stall issue though since but it was intermittent. I have a long long list of things to do on the car and plugs and service items are there but ill have a check now anyway. Ive spent a fair bit already on it. But i cant do it all at once as wallet cant take it!! Generally otherwise it runs great. just abit juicy . i do think its running a bit rich pipes a bit sooty iirc ________________________________________ Diablo Gti6 ph 2 98 |
