I'm really bored, and was just clearing my photobucket up a little, so thought i'd post some pics of my old peugeots.....

It all started when i bought a Topaz blue 205 xs off a friend when i was 17, great little car, was quite clean too, had a few bits done to it and went very well.....only picture i have, used to run 1.9 wheels, then some 5 spoke stihl auto's or something, this is the day i sold it......

That was subsequently written off 2 weeks later by the new owner

Then came a 106 1.6 xsi (rarer than a rallye!), had done a lot of miles, but we rebuilt the engine (kept the 1.6 bottom end, put a 1.3 rallye head on, rallye inlet, 4 branch ETC, rev'd well but was never set up properly), had it fully reprayed, fitted gti leather, gti beam, all sorts, spent a fortune on it, bear in mine i was 18/19 at the time and it was the early 2000's, most lads my age had corsa's with massive body kits and neon's, so this was pretty tasteful

then this happened............

Got smashed into head on by a drink driver on a country lane, wrote his near enough new nissan navara off too, police could clearly see i was traveling at a safe speed and he was driving like a c**t, but he ran off so they never got him for DD, but insurance paid out in my favor, including personal injury for a very sprained finger and whiplash, that bought me the cossie Wink

But, before i got the cossie, i got this...... low mileage Winchester grey 309 gti, LOVED this car, the head gasket went shortly after i got it, so we did that, but i fitted a flowed and ported head and pugsport cam to it, along with a full magnex incl 4 branch, went a lot better, and even made standard power, rare for a 1.9 to do that! lol

then i got the cossie and was pugless, for about 2 weeks, i soon realised i needed a daily driver as running a cossie day to day is expensive, so along came my 205 dturbo, bought off ebay for about £350, it was meant to just be a cheap runner............

comedy ride height

then this happened.............

with my mates DTurbo 309 gti

On the rollers

then i got a HDi (there was an escort van in between the 205 and this)

Ended up like this (too low, was only meant to go down 30mm, then i got carried away and bout 60mm springs)

after that i had a civic VTi, and an astra van, and now i'm into my GTi-6.

Sorry for the long thread, but thought some of you may like to see my past! ha

Haha, i used to, yes, the 306 went onto a gti one, laguna wasn't on long on that!

The 106, well, that was 9-10 years ago, and the 205, it pretty much held the front bumper together! ha

Yeah, loved it, was meant to be pretty rare on ph2's as well, so i was told.
I wish i never had to sell the 309, it sickens me seeing the price they fetch now.
I sold that for £850, it was pretty much mint, with goodwood leather, and that was a strong price then!
It got written off a week later when some dozy bint back ended it.

I thought that, honest to god, if you buy one, buy a 2wd.
4x4's are nicer looking, but they handle like a demented donkey when pushed hard, and love to understeer, i can't comment on it spinning, we've only been up the road a couple of mile and its not running full power, but it feel's nicer, everyone who's driven both will tell you to buy 2wd too (ask CosKev Smile)

Not a great deal on that day, it had blown the turbo a couple of days before hand, and we'd just chucked a garret T2 on and it was running standard boost but fueling for 24psi, made 110 bhp @ 180 ft ib like that, never rolled it at 24psi.
