The story is that last year for MOT i removed faults on ecu (on ralle) which turned the light out and got me through MOT test but as soon as it reached 40 MPH light came back on, at the time it was a rear sensor fault which a few weeks later Chris Pellow was selling a new pair of sensors and i bought them, not really bothered me having the light on as i know what it was at fault and had a new sensor to fit (and the fact the car wasnt running A1) anyway booked in for test last Sat so turned up at the garage Fri evening and asked if they can turn the light out again for test plugged in and got code 0208 which wouldn't erase so wouldn't put light out, obviously i cancelled test as i didnt want a fail, 0208 code refered to an 'unknown fault' so where do i start lol

This evening after testing solenoids on the pump individually and finding they worked fine i got in the car and put my foot on the brake the father in law was stood behind the car but could see my foot on the pedal and asked me to put my foot down hard and hold it on, the brake lights flashed (not in time like a flasher) so we traced a bad connection on the brake light switch but i changed it for a spare anyway to be sure , then plugged in again and 0208 had gone so if anyone gets it its for brake light switch

Good news my christmas tree that was my dash has now been switched off i've even removed the air bag bulb LOL
