Hi everyone, I´m from Spain and new in this forum.
I am the owner of a peugeot 406 1.8 16v (Xu7jp4 engine with sagem ecu). I made a little improvements to it, but that is never enough, you know hehehe.

I am wishing to learn a lot in this forum and if I can help with anything I will do it.

Cheers

Thanks!

The choice of forum is related to the installed gti bits in my xu7 (inlet manifold) and the ones I am planning to install hehe.

I've added them before reading your reply!

Next things to do:
- Exhaust manifold (gti6 one)
- Pfte inlet manifold gasket (the manifold is very hot in some situations like traffic lights and driving downway without pressing the accelerator).

Yes! Like this very much!

Get the side skirts removed and go for the BTCC look?!

(love how news of the PTFE gasket has seemingly spread all over the world lol)

A friend of mine tried fitting a GTi6 exhaust manifold to the XU10J4R engine and it did not fit, No room around the subframe and Bulkhead, what it would be like on the XU7 I do not know as the engine is lower.

Thanks for the comments!

Miles, your friend tried it on a 406? I think it´s quite similar in terms of external room.

Can anyone confirm if the gti6 ecu will fit? I know that I will have to change the wiring, connectors and some sensors, but I don´t know if the ecu will manage the engine in a good way out of the box.
