I've had my car parked up for the past few months as I've been having problems with my back. I've occasionally turned the engine on just to keep things fine.

I've just gone out to do it again but it won't start. The engine turns over but doesnt kick in! Sad. I've also got the 'autodiagnostics warning light' on the dash. In the manual it says it could be either injection or ignition system.

Anyone know how I can fix it? Or what might need to be replaced?

battery?

the fact that you occasionally turn it over without running it for at least 30 mins is the common mistake people do as it requires such a high current to start the engine, you would be better off leaving the car rather than occasionally starting it for only a few mins.

No, when I said I let it run, I leave it untill it reaches temperature then for at least another 15mins. It's not the battery as I've had that on a charger over night!

The car was running the other day aswell! Sad not happy!

EML always comes on till engine is started.

check you have fuel+spark.

Just checked and there is no fuel coming from the injectors! The pump is priming and there is fuel getting to the rail but it's not firing!

Help!
