Hi,

am new to the forum as i was seeking help for my 306, 12/1999, 1.4 model. I noticed temp was up and fluid missing from radiator. Then i noticed the hose was cracked and coolant leaking. You can see the point were it cracked marked with red.

Do i have to tear the whole dashboard to put a new matrix or i can replace the heat hose/pipes?

Thank you.

It will probly be dash out yes. But I advise getting membership and posting in the relevent section. You will get more help for sure. Smile

You might only need the hoses (the end connector comes with them). Avaliable from a dealer or scrap yard. Just be careful when pulling them out that you don't damage the inner plastic connector to the matrix that runs through the bulkhead.

If its only cracked where you have marked, its only the hoses and connector you need, not dash out, they are over £100 from peugeot.

If you are getting them second hand they will probably break anyway when you try to remove them Sad

Epoxy metal from somewhere like Halfords, follow the instructions. Ive used that for some serious s**t, should be fine to fix a crack on plastic.

dont bother trying to fix it, just replace the part, it will be as pictured above.

there's several part numbers so you are best putting your VIN into servicebox for the correct one.

Only need the pipes, no need for dash strip as stated. Wink
