It appears the fuel pump on my phase 1 low boost supercharged car is donald ducked , the part number on the bosch pump is 0 580 453 052 , should i just replace it or go for an uprated one , like maybe the walbro GSS 341 ,if it will fit of course , what has anybody else done?________________________________________ now new booted , boosted and flying again! |

Simply replace it, no need for anything more.________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone ![]() |

doesn't matter how common they are, just buy a new pump.0580 313 109 is the part number for the phase 1 pump unit (superseeds 0 580 313 057 ) http://www.bosch-automotive-catalog.com ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Thanks for those part numbers , looks like it had the wrong one in it anyway , it had been replaced at some point with 0580 453 052 and that is out of a 106 ! ________________________________________ now new booted , boosted and flying again! |

thats probably the bare pump unit itself, if you can find someone selling that on its on you should save some cash, Bosch dont list the bare pump for the 306.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

none that I've found, you'd need to take apart a gti6 pump.I wouldn't be surprised to see that the 106 uses the same pump, the superseded part number for a 205 is the same too, known to flow enough for mid 200's n-a. looking at the 106 listing 0 580 453 052 was discontinued in 2004 and 0580314075 is the replacement. apparently there's only 7 replacement pumps listed by bosch, to replace 72 different units. http://www.bosch.com.au/content/language1/downloads/BOSCH_Fuel_Pump_WEB.pdf ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Alright, shame wax going ask if he got bad fuel surges round corners, because bottom of the walbro doesn't interface with the OEM pick up in bottom of housing |
