There wont be any information because the engines maximum rpm is limited by the ECU.

By over-revving do you mean the engine now exceeds 7250rpm or do you mean the idle is too high?

It's revving when I press the clutch to change gear a little bit.

Take it off and give it a clean this is what hapend to mine so i cleaned it now its ok Thumbs up

Another vote for ICV. When they stop working they stay in the position it was last in. This would be in a retracted position therefore letting too much air through.

When they stick in the extended position it won't allow any air through so the car won't idle at all.

The best way to check is by removing the ICV whilst leaving it plugged in, Then get someone to turn the ignition to position 2 if the ICV is working then you should see it move into its desired position. If it does nothing then it's f**ked Thumbs up
