Is there an easy way/technique to removing them and simply swapping them over? My cars plug will fit the black adjuster not the brown.

I bought a set of headlights as my drivers side headlight was broken inside! I thought all crystals were the same but the ones I've bought come with different headlight adjusters. Is there an easy way/technique to removing them and simply swapping them over? My cars plug will fit the black adjuster not the brown. |

Decided to leave the hammer in the toolbox this time.Should I change both headlights so they are matching or will it not matter as they are both crystal headlights just had different adjusters on them? |

shouldnt matter but if it was me id change both, its easy to do anyway. Just make sure you actually clip the ball on the adjuster back onto the lense otherwise your know the meaning of dipped headlights |

The internals of both frosted and crystals are identicalThe masks are different as well as a few other suttle things,.. But everything to do with the mechanism and wiring are exactly the same! So won't make a blind bit of difference As long as their both adjusted correctly ________________________________________ Proud Member of the ASTOR Owners Club |

Any pointers would be great ________________________________________ '98 Nile Blue 306 GTi 6 |

It's a pain in the arse ! Best to hold the internals of the light via the bulb cover area then slide the adjuster knob bit into the housing rather than trying to push it in |
