pull the pipe off from the jet under the bonnet. check water comes out the pipe.if so use brute force to remove jet from bonnet. i think you should be able to push them from underneath. either clean or replace with Xsara mist jets.. ________________________________________ Ph2.5 Nile - Slowly trying to de-East London it and restore to former glory...Built on the 9 Febuary 1999 - Tuesday's car..is full of pace? ![]() Currently looking slightly molested due to some c*nt trying to get into it.. ![]() According to the forum Social Worker, because I work in IT, I am socially retarted.. |

You can pinch the clips on the sides of the jets on the underside of the bonnet with a pairs of pliers and then pull the jet out from the top. ![]() As stated already, replace with Xsara mist jets, they are much better. ![]() ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone ![]() |

I always find using a small needle often cleans them out a treat. But as everyone has already said, they are so cheap to replace. Get the Xsara mist jets, they have been brilliant in the time that I have had them. |

Mine were also blocked in my first 306. You could free the jets with a needle (you can aim them with the needle while you're at it) but they would keep getting blocked regularly so I took them out and soaked them in some vinegar to solve any scale, cleaned them and put a small scooter fuel filter in-line. I cannot tell how durable that solution is as I replaced the washer jets with the xsara ones a month later which have a nice spray pattern that covers most of the windscreen at once. But you should see the s**t inside the filter after five years. However I would not put a fuel filter there again because you get a delay of about one second until water comes out of the jets. -> XSARA JETS plug and play is the way to go. ![]() |

Major thread bump haha.If you are getting dirt in the system remove the washer bottle and see if it is dirty. When I bought my 306 I was having issues and there was a solid mass of green algae in the bottom inch of the bottle. It was disgusting and all came out in one giant blob. ________________________________________ 61k miles Ph.1 Diablo '6 Project Thread |
