Crank sensor could be dead - does the rev counter move up when you try to start it?The crash ball bearing thing on the right hand of the engine bay hasn't been activated has it? Can't remember what its called, but then you'd not have fuel... ________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

if the rev counter goes nuts I'd imagine the battery is a bit tired, or the alternator isn't charging and it simply hasn't the guts to turn it over fast enough to start.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

Do a drop test on the battery and see if it holds out. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

i assume u were driving when it cut out, did the battery light come on first?? but i`m pretty sure if your engine is running and it cut out i doubt it will have nothing to do with the battery as the car was running off the alternator.________________________________________ |

my car did this (was a little low on fuel)I towed it home and it started in the morning first time. I then filled it up and its done 1500 miles since. Usually though this sort of thing is Battery, Fuel Pump or fuel pump relay. Which is why i bought all three as spare from pugplus and keep them in my boot ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |
