I've decided to give the suspension a full overhaul

I will be replacing the front shocks with some coilovers, I have a set that are for a 205 so will be fitting them
The only issue I can see is the droplink location, I'm going to get around this by fitting Rose jointed items Smile
At the minute it's only got standard shocks with lowering springs (-40mm) what would be the best size springs to go for on the coilovers? (I want it to still be -40mm at the most)

I'm looking to replace the patern wishbones with some roller bearing bushes and Rose jointed ball joints
I know I will have to replace the top mount bushes and bearings (that's if it's the same sort of setup as the 205) what other bits while I'm there would be recommended to be replaced

Then I'm looking to get the rear beam rebuilt at -40 as well

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

I have a similar thread with a similar question but no one seems to have any ideas.
I'm replacing:
Springs
Shocks
Top mounts
Droplinks
Wishbones
Track rod ends

Which AFAIK leaves roll bar bushes and hubs?
I was thinking of changing the hubs but didn't know how much new ones are
I know they can get ovaled though so im still uming and arrring
At the same time I'm going to do the gearbox and top mount too, as I've already done the lower.

I wouldn't bother with hubs if there's nothing wrong with yours.
If you get a spare set, just get the bearings changed
Engine mounts will be done on mine as well, need to get the chassis repaired where the top mount has snapped out Sad

Unless you have deffo ovalled the hubs I wouldn't bother buying new.
Roll bar bushes don't tend to go, but just buy new Peugeot if you have to. Make a note of which way round they came out Wink
