I can see where it goes in my Sony head unit its connected to the blue/white wire, but my pioneer headunit (DEH-P9600mp) does not have a blue/white wire, only a "wired remote input" 3.5mm jack, could this be where it plugs into ???? I'm Confused

Hi, Does anyone know where I put the "orange coloured" power cable approx 5mm in diameter, that runs from the Amplifier to the headunit, I think it switches the Amp on when the headunit powers up.I can see where it goes in my Sony head unit its connected to the blue/white wire, but my pioneer headunit (DEH-P9600mp) does not have a blue/white wire, only a "wired remote input" 3.5mm jack, could this be where it plugs into ???? I'm Confused |

I assume you have a power line from the car battery t the amp ? If not then that's what that wire is for ? The remote turn on is usually a very thin wire (blue) from the head unit with a label showing remote on it ? DO NOT WIRE THE AMP FROM ANY OTHER POWER SOURCE OTHER THAN THE CAR BATTERY AND ALWAYS USE AN IN LINE FUSE |

What other wires do you have? As normally its Red-live (battery to amp) Brown-earth (amp to earthing point) Blue (thin)-remote (head unit to amp) Red & white rca cable. (head unit to amp). ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

Plug it in and play. If you have fuses in the amp and stereo nothing should blow. But yeah, normally the remote is a thin blue wire. Can you post pictures of all the wires on the head unit?________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |
