Block of wood on top of the jack and then jack the engine up via the sump at the cambelt end. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

After looking under my car, I've discovered that my droplink has completely snapped away from the ARB.So for the time being i'm going to assume this is causing my 'knock' rather than ropey engine mount. The local factors (Parkers - "the parts people" sell droplinks by FAI for £18ea (not Lemforder, which the last ones were) Does anyone have any experience of these, or am i best off going for Lemforder again (even though it didn't last all that long ) Or fork out £80odd for rose jointed jobbies on ebay? (probably not) Regards, Dave ________________________________________ Team: Moonstone GTI-6™Team: ian7675 wrote: Remember....a 6 isn't just a car, it's a part time job |

You don't need the rose-jointed ones...FAI are a good brand and they are fine, I used to sell these, and I think I may have a set fitted to my car. Can't remember it's so long ago I fitted them. Either FAI or Lemforder will see you right Dave. ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |

No worries mate. Now that you've tackled removing/refitting the inlet manifold these should be a walk in the park... ________________________________________ "Supercharged - 454.1bhp/317.5lb/ft"Peugeot 306 GTi-6 2000 (X), Moonstone |
