I have a horrible noise, when i pull away come of the clutch I get a horrible crunching/clicking noise. It also happens when u let off the accelerator then accelerate you get the crunch.
The wishbones are new, I have changed a drive shaft because of this, droplinks seem to be in good condtion, I have changed the gasket between manifold and cat.
I have been looking for this noie for months and cant find it, it is getting worse and i dont want to keep chucking money at it.
The next thing I am going to investigate is the gear linckages as they have some play in them.
Does anyone have any idears before I waste more money?
Thanks

yup, quite likely to be the top engine mount, either the mounting itself or the cradle that's welded to the shell cracked.

Get a long bar like a crow bar n jam it in between the top mount and chassis and see if you can move the engine. This hapend on mine and the engine moved a mile

I would definitely be looking at the top engine mount cradle. Yes

It sounds like the classic symptoms to me. Sad
