So after a bloody long train journey followed by a ferry to irland and back I am now sitting at fidhguard harbour in the dimma!
Its not as bad as I was expecting to tell the truth, all the horror stories iv herd about rotting arches where not true!

She is having a lot of work done to her before she goes on the road again and I'll also be selling some unwanted/ needed parts so keep an eye out!

Just want to get it home and get my self in bed but iv got a long wait until I get picked up by a friend hence why I'm on here at stupid o'clock advertising parts lol

No pics as it's a bare shell at the minute!
Wheels are going, spoiler is going, doors are going, centre exit exhaust is going, interior is gone, cage is gone!
Going to phase 3 the complete car.. Dash looms fuel tank and complete front end!
Thinking if spraying it focus rs white!
Looking at some new wheels but first I'm going to wide track the rear as dimma never did it properly! Looking at spacing the hub out 50mm from the trailing arm so no spacers will be needed with the new wheels.

Was going to do a project thread but If I did I wouldn't get as much done to the car so I'll probably do one once it's finished!

Was going for a grey to start with or maybe indigo blue like the 106's fit think White will make it look even more mean and wide!

white would def give it a modern fresh look but the white look with black features is very 2010 as is matt paint. but as there are no others it will be unique, all be it expensive
would a 406 rear beam be any wider? and would it fit? most of the scrappies that i have looked at 406 s in seem to have the same set up maybe the 406 coupe might offer something that will wide track the 306 without using dodgy spacers?

406 doesn't use a rear beam.

As welshpug said the 406 is different set up!
I won't be using wheel spacers, I'm hoping a friend of mine or crf450 can make thicker and longer stub axle and spacer to space the hub out from the trailing arms with -1 degree of camber built in!
If my maths is right I should be able to afford some nur goodies like boot, bonnet and splitter I will then have the roof sprayed black so the car will be mainly White but with the carbon bits it should split it up a bit!
The wheels are compomotive mo 1880 and 1890 I think...6 spoke 18x 8 front and 18x9 rear!

see if martinj is knocking about. You need longer stub pins and then a 40mm block spacer before the wheel hub and carrier go on. Simple enough. Martin made some of the 40mm block spacers for his maxi. I used to love this car when it was in the demon tweaks mag. Saw it for sale the first time i ever keyed in 306 dimma on ebay along time ago. The buckets and the interior just put me off. Lots of wonga spent on this though apparantly.

I pm'd him ages ago and no reply so don't think he lives for the 306 anymore :-(
I would prefer to oversize the pin so that it's an interference fit in the trailing arm and spacer, by doing this it will be easier to get the negative camber without the use of an insert in the trailing arm and also for extra strength.
