Hi,Really struggling to find a replacement panel in the same paint code (EXY  as my car. I've found quite a few POXY paint codes which claim to be Onyx black also...Anyone know if they are the same? Any ideas? Pretty sure on the colours available for the 6 black was only onyx black ? Took a black p3 Gti 6 hatch and put it on a rallye looked the same to me ? All Diablos have the same paint code ? Just different shades due to different ages. Prob the same for black |

Far as I'm aware they are the same, James...At least, Onyx Black isn't so black after 12 years, more Onyx Grey... I've put panels off GTis that arent P0XY and they're identical far as I can see... |

EXYER was the colour code for my ZX, a very straight black with hardly any other colours mixed in, Citroen called it "Black"  ________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |

P3XY and POXY are in fact same onyx black the 3 and O stands for how many layers og clear coat you got. P3 have 3 coats and PO have 1. The P i seem to remember that stand for solid color not like metallic. The EXY are the same as the POXY its just another way of writing it. if i may just throw this in randomly.........when i went to see my sprayer the other day about getting my car done he said they are a pain as there's different shades. I said no,the blacks are all the same,code EXY. So he went to get his book with every car paint code in,found peugeot,found the EXY code,and he was right,there was THREE for EXY. Straight EXY.......Then EXY with a bit of blue.....Then another EXY with a bit of blue and bit of brown in it. |

I have a phase 3 black one and went to my sprayer the a little while ago to do a bonnet and they said it was just the one colour in black for them, shouldn't be hard to get hold of at all, though this was the older paints and not these new crappy water-based ones ________________________________________ A red rallye in progress! |
