I will be around the fishgaurd area on Saturday night/ Sunday morning, just wondered if anyone local to fishgaurd can think of anything to do to kill some time ( around 10 hours )

Well I arrive back in Fishguard at 00:30 and my mate doesn't pick me up till 19:00!
Pubs won't be open at that time, car has to stay at the harbour as no tax or mot!

I was in the middle of a sentence but a customer walked in and what i'd written was posted LOL


what i was going to ask what sort of thing you wanting to do ?


Oh and i should be picking up the heat shield this evening/tomorrow morning if you want a 30mile spin ? (i'll give you the postage back too)


EDIT just read your reply about not leaving port, are you being picked up on a trailer ?

Yes my mate is meeting me with a trailer Fishguard side but he can't make it till 7pm so I have a bloody long wait!
Unless someone else wants to trailer the dimma from Fishguard to fareham £200 in it for ya!

I heard there is a man in Fishguard, track him down and have a chat with him or something. Not sure if he is real or a legend. Someone says they saw him smoking a pipe looking out to see.

It's on uk plates, the current owner has trade plates, I'm insured fully comp so would be insured 3rd party if I don't sign the log book, just too much of a risk to drive it 300 miles with no mot or tax!

Only if there is still a policy on the car i'd get a 1 day cover and book it in for an MOT drive it straight to MOT station near home, i bought a 6 just outside London and drove it back Smile

Dont think I would get away with it as the mot station would be 300 miles away plus no mot stations are open on Saturday night, Sunday morning!
I think your allowed to drive it to an not but not that far a distance!

As long as its booked in your covered, when i did mine we looked through all the MOT files but it didnt state distance Smile

Just had a chat with a traffic cop and I wouldn't be covered at all :-( looks like a 17 hour wait for me! Any smoke up around the Fishguard area lol
