First of all, I apologies that I don't have a membership, I have read that it gets people in the bad books of others Sad
Anyway, the red stop light has only come on the this morning and I find it is not as bright as when it is on accessories than when the engine is running, not that noticable in a photo, but I supplied on anyway Smile

Comparison pic:

And secondly, I found this two pin plug just lying there under the ICV? I was wondering what it would be used for Dunno
I was looking around there to find what could be causing the "STOP" light in the dash...

Picture of plug:

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Big grin

Cheers Brad Roll eyes

That plug is left unused on our cars.

Have you checked your brake fluid level? Coolant level? From memory theres not many things that would cause the stop light to come on, but i could be wrong.

I'd recommend getting even just the basic membership as this will soon be moved to a technical section where you won't be able to post on the thread again. Smile

Good man. Thumbs up

Please do this as a matter of priority as this thread will be otherwise be moved and you will no longer be able to post on it. Wink

Could it possibly bee the ICV?
It stalled 5 times this morning with in 1 second? It was a cold morning but?
If it is the ICV, would one off an 1.8 XU7 engine fit?
EDIT: The stop light came on after it stalled 5 times and started properly Dunno

Might be the oil pressure switch on the front of the block - check the wiring.
Check for any air in the coolant system too.
