You need to use xantia 288mm disks to use them on a 306, lots of squealing :________________________________________ Dimma + Gt35 turbo =![]() Solid rear beam mounts £130 07889376885 Dan |

as birk saidthey fit straight on chances are you will need at least 16" alloys some 15"s fit 288mm discs and a set of ear defenders ![]() ________________________________________ TEAM HIGH BOOST SUPERCHARGED RALLYEMy Rallye project thread |

There are ways to stop them squealing but you'll have to search. Hoses need sorting too.________________________________________ Nothing to see here |

You need Tarox g88 discs to stop the squealing I believe.Might be better off going for ashes kit. or if like me you wnat to be different get the brakes for a 807 v6 (Magnesium) and adapters. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

Cheers peeps, thts good cos im sure we've got the xantia brake discs sitting on the shelf at work 'old stock' as for squealing might try using offset shims behind the pads.. also cars sitting on 17s so clearance should be cool.. |

Just so we are absolutely clear, as about to hand over some cash for 406 Brembo's. if I use 288 disks will 15 cyclones fit? Or do I need to buy spacers ?I don't want to be putting the car back together next Sunday and find the wheels will not fit on & then be stuck with car on axle stands. I have standard 15 inch cyclones. Sorry to hi jack the thread but it's hard to get a definate answer. Cheers Dai ________________________________________ Xbox Live: DaicarvideoGuy, Forza 4 |

AFAIK, Cyclones will fit but you will need some chunky spacers to get enough clearance. Not an ideal solution IMO.Better to get wheels in the correct fitment with enough clearance. I'd avoid spacers at all costs, just my opinion, but I've never trusted them since one tried to remove itself from my car on the motorway. Never used them since. |

midlife wrote: You can use STD 306 hoses if you get extensions from Phillipm ![]() This is true, although if you're upgrading the brake system it would be wise to upgrade the hoses too.
