the plastic housing which the rear view mirror clips onto and which covers the rain sensor - how does that fix to the window?

i can see a little tab which it looks like it snaps onto but it's still flimsy at the front edge against the window, as if some pads or sticky material is meant to go there, maybe i'm missing something and never noticed?

tempted to just whack a load of bonding around the lip of the housing to fix it against the window Unsure

It slides on. from the bottom towards the roof. be careful getting it on though, don't do what I did and pull the fixing off the window.

I can't really help answer your question Rikky but i couldnt get mine to stick on with adhesive pads so in the end just siliconed it on, as Phill will soon come to notice if he needs to remove it. Laugh
