have removed the rear spoler of the 6 as had faded and was going to bring back to life hopefully

had the idea of painting it, now have noticed the spoiler is rubber, will this be ok to paint, going to get a local bodyshop to attempt, just wondered if the paint would stick ok or will it just flake of?

The rubber ones are fine to spray as well.
I did my own a few years back and it came out fine and was on the car for a couple of years and did not flake or peel.

I got it redone by a body shop because the colour match was not perfect and it has been fine as well Smile

If you do it yourself, make sure to use plastic primer to allow for some movement.
Also, the spoiler has probably had back to black or other form of silcone on it so give it a really realy good clean first with soapy water/degreaser/white spirit to get a nice clean surface so the paint will stick in the long run Smile
