Your problems could be one or all of the following:

HG
CTS
Lambda
Coil Pack
Spark Plug

Once the issue/issues are sorted you will love the car and wonder what all the fuss was about. Yes

He hasn't yet, it went for a HG check and came back fine, but is still showing these symptoms, so I believe he has booked it in for Friday for further diagnosis. Wink

Yup came back spot on with compression test. Needed a new thermostat and had a beastly airlock. Temp and coolant pressure is all good, smelled the coolant and it smells 'clean'.
I have lambda sensor, cts,map sensor and spark plugs at the ready for Friday. I'll let you know what it was.
I'll have a chat with Welshpug if its HG.

Headgasket gone.
New lambda sensor, map sensor, coolant temp sensor and Tps didn't make any difference. Smells of petrol from the exhaust too until the 4th cylinder kicks in again. Coolant system, especially top Rad hose is super pressured again. I'm living for The Bus until payday! How much is it worth with HG wanting to go?
