The caliper just touches the inside of the rim so cant use spacers to solve this. Im guessing there is no magical way to get round it? |

Ummm, wouldnt you be spacing the wheel rather than the caliper? If its very close you can shave the back of the wheel or the front of the caliper, or both, theres usually at least 2-3mm to be gained there ________________________________________ Lots of Nissans, two 306 GTI-6's. Have you only put one on the rear??if you've only done that and the rear caliper is catching then there's no hope for the fronts ________________________________________ Cherry rallye - DOB Thursday 29/04/1999Team Rallye - the leaner, meaner, better looking sister of the GTI6 roland rat wrote: You sir either live for the 6 or have a mental retardation to still be repairing this! they just dont suite the shape of a 306, they look good on slammed mk1/2 golfs thats about it. Thats my opinion. Oh by the way if you want to look at my past forum posts you will see I have given plenty of useful advice. Much more than you have anyway. |

Bad timing, i just recently sold a set of Borbet Lion centre caps because the alloys were bent. They are 15s if I remember from an old thread and the ones on the HDI are 16I don't think they look too bad, but not sure how you will get over the caliper problem other than putting smaller brakes on the front I have a 266mm setup in the garage if your dead set on fitting the wheels ________________________________________ Cherry rallye - DOB Thursday 29/04/1999Team Rallye - the leaner, meaner, better looking sister of the GTI6 roland rat wrote: You sir either live for the 6 or have a mental retardation to still be repairing this!
