Did a quick search, nothing came up. Has anyone else had this?

Heard an almighty clunk the other day when pulling into work carpark. Checked this morning and found my nearside droplink has snapped. I am a little sceptical of plastic droplinks and this only enforces my opinion.

Anyone recommend decent replacements?

Nothing wrong with decent make plastic ones. They don't have THAT much force put on them and the metal ones just bend.
Your choice is literally:
Peugeot
Cws pellowe/ Phillipm ones

Peugeot used Lemforder plastic drop links as standard and they last fecking ages. Cheap ones will snap eventually but OE ones should be fine.

The plastic ones tend to be more durable than the metal ones too, they have a spring to them that the metal ones don't, they tend to just bend.

Hmm On closer inspection my plastic one looks slightly bent when piecing back together. Will have to look into cause. Thanks for the advice guys.

Yup, same happened to me a while back. Had only been fitted 2 weeks. On closer inspection there was a big air bubble and no plastic material hence why it snapped I reckon. Replaced it with another plastic jobby and all was fine.
