HI i recently added new alloy wheels to my 306 . The rims are 15 inch and the problem is that the back tyre is touching the the inside of the arch:/ all i need is some kind of spacer which would make a little more space between the tyre and the inside. I'm scared that the tire is going to damage it self as it is making a funny noise when i drive.=[ any help pls?

Is it like it on both sides?

If it is its going to be the wheels as said, if it's only on one side its more likely your rear beam is f*cked.

Is it fouling on metal or plastic? I had to remove rear plastic inner arch as all my track wheels rubbed on them

i had to get spacers for my 205 1.9 gti alloys to fit on my 306's.

ive had bad experience with spacers before. my 1.4 threw a wheel at 60 on spaghetti junction. i was using 25mm spacers/adaptors that used 4 bolts to attach the spacer and 4 nuts to attach the wheel to the spacer.

my advice. buy hubcentric spacers and use extended bolts. check thier condition daily

do not buy wheel adaptors, anything that requires plastic spigot rings. or non-hubcentric spacers. do not try to get away with original length bolts.
