I just did a coolant drain and flush because the old coolant looked a bit dirty. Flushed the system properly and bled well.no bubbles or air etc.doesn't go near 90c. Went for a drive, temp stays down nicely, levels fine etc. This afternoon I popped 2miles down the road and the engine stalled when i approached a junction in neutral. Revs died. It fires up fine, sounds and drives fine and the temp and coolant is fine.it did it again just now when i went to park up. Any ideas? It didn't do this before I decided to drain coolant.________________________________________ Beef Beyond Belief |

Try cleaning the icv. That often fixes the stalling issues. If not, you'll have to but another I reckon. ________________________________________ See the sheer power and might of the lesser known burrowing owl. |

As others have said, ICV clean is the first thing to do.If this doesn't cure it then you will need to buy new. Keep an eye on the accelerating from low RPM, as thats a typical lambda fault. If this symptom continues, keep a check on how much fuel your getting through. If it seems excessive, then your lambda will need changing. But hopefully for now, an ICV clean should see you right. Ok i have cleaned Icv, Tps and map sensor and ir still jumps to 2k revs when I start it up.instantly drops to 900rpm again. There is a hesitation between 1k-2800 revs and sometimes just cuts out. Pulls hard and smooth after 3k revs. Ahhh soo annoying. ________________________________________ Beef Beyond Belief |
