Yes they would be illegal, to be road worth (I.E pass MOT test) they only need to Emmit light for each function in the correct colour but traffic cops would be all over them and there would need to be a reflector fitted to those

i prefer the 1s that have just the red tinted and leave the smoked bit as smoked, i dont think the cops would take as much notice of them as they look more factory

but if you do them like the above its best to use 2k black paint mixed with clear so it looks black but will still clear enough allow light through

EDIT I had these fitted on mine for 3 days during that time i got an MOT with separate reflectors on the bumper but got pulled 3-4 times so they came off

Yes the car has to have a reflective part anywhere visible on the back for the MOT, the 6 has it in the lights as standard.

Not my cuppa I have to admit LOL
They look ok on the right car! But you'll only end up with a car stuffed up your arse
With them on thinking about it!

So not going to do them if there only going to cause trouble! No No

but there still going to be more trouble than there really worth!
things like De-cats you can get away with,.. but things that are blatantly on show,.. and your asking for trouble off the Police

just look at how they are over the lettering on your plate or the plate it's self! Dry
