I think the general consensus is that they are a very good car, no denying that!I wouldn't get one after owning a '6/ralleye though, would seem a rather expensive diagonal step?! Plus I see more and more chavvy types driving theses days, just like mk4 golfs (which I'm not comparing to ep3 type r's for the avoidance of doubt) ________________________________________ Team: Moonstone GTI-6™Team: ian7675 wrote: Remember....a 6 isn't just a car, it's a part time job |

I agree with the above^ They are faster and more powerful, but not in a way I would enjoy after a 6. The engines are very different, Kind of chalk and cheese. ________________________________________ Ex- Phase 3 China GTi-6 T-Reg |

I did used to want an EP3 Type R. When I had my EK Civic Coupe and I had planned on getting an EK9 next but insurance quotes were eye watering In the end I reverting back to lusting for a GTi6 as I set my heart on having one when I was 14/15 (partly thanks to MSR on the SEGA Dreamcast!).Edit: Good read, not driven a CTR myself so I can not really comment. ________________________________________ I Live for the 306TEAM CHERRY PINK RALLYE 2008 BMW ///M 320d |

Driven a few wasn't impressed in the slightest. The vtech sounds epic with an induction kit which is quite addictive but that is all. I agree with the above i only like dc2s dc5s and ek9s. ________________________________________ Team Nile 6Team: 40.2 MPG 5 x a 306 owner! currently abusing type r's in a town near you ™ I truely live for the 306 ® Build date: 29th October 1997 Wednesday's car midweek madness |

I'm still much of the opinion that you do have to buy something a bit more 'nutty' to really be glad you ditched the 6 in favour of it. ________________________________________ Signichaaaaaaar! |

Yeah, I'm thinking maybe a 350z next, or maybe a Volvo v70r, should be able to keep the '6 for a track car then?________________________________________ Team: Moonstone GTI-6™Team: ian7675 wrote: Remember....a 6 isn't just a car, it's a part time job |
