Decent tyres (R888's, A048's etc), decent suspension (chage arb, solid rear beam mounts, bilsteins or something similar) decent LSD or Quaife ATB diff, decent front pads (Mintex 1155's or similar) with dot 5.1 fluid + braided lines.

Would be the things i'd look at if starting again.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fecking temperamental.

^^ What he said. When the time comes don't go lowering it stupid amounts either, you'll only ruin the handling. Schoolboy error.

Ride height doesn't matter a f*ck. It all depends on the components!

I thought the oil cooler plate was thermostat controlled as standard but just lacked a decent cooler, I was under the impression you could plumb a cooler onto the standard oil cooler but I was never 100% Dunno

I think Ash meant to get a Mocal thermostatic take off plate plumbed up to an oil cooler rad. There are non-thermostatic ones by mocal too which are cheaper, but they make it take much longer to get the oil up to temp and thats a bad thing.
I've not read anywhere about people plumbing into the standard heat exchanger, the thermostatic sandwich plate does sit between that and the oil filter though. Smile
