sounds like the coffee valve, fairly common issue. the only way to stop it is to pay for membership on here________________________________________ 306 rallye reproduction decals (full sets/individual decals) | 306 b-pillar textured vinyl weatherstrips306 slam panel esso stickers | 306 yellow / orange / pension fund red side door badges gti6 inlet manifold badges | 306 rear boot badges (p2/p3) winner of Extraction of toys from prams with outstanding vigour award 2009 [source: gti6 owners club] |

Rikky I agree, I believe it to be a percolator issue.________________________________________ I'm Si btwNight Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper - (The other half's wheels) |

Could be a small hole in the rad or one of the hoses could have perished and is leaking slightly. Let it run up to temp and check all the hoses and rad, you should see steam. Good luck ________________________________________ Team Nile 6Team: 40.2 MPG 5 x a 306 owner! currently abusing type r's in a town near you ™ I truely live for the 306 ® Build date: 29th October 1997 Wednesday's car midweek madness |

Pressure test the coolant system, watch, listen for leaks, look for steam out exhaust when running, get a sniff test, lots of things to do. I would hope it the rad or a pipe and not head gasket.________________________________________ Life is short, make it interestingBuy a Peugeot! |

Prob spent same amount as getting Carl or someone to do it really. Also you wanna investigate, if it is a hose you'll do head gasket and still have a leak, loose water. ________________________________________ Life is short, make it interestingBuy a Peugeot! |
