i have just fitted a new engine in my 6 and left the exhaust manifold off and now am having trouble fitting it. i was just wondering if there was a special way of doing it as i cant seem to do it :$ |

Either:1. Take the subframe & steering rack off 2. Take the engine out again 3. Remove the radiator if it's in, drop the engine off its mounts and pull it as far forward as you can (may need the inlet manifold off as well). ________________________________________ Rich |

Seriously I had to smash the s*** out of it but I got there in the end. As Rich E says take the inlet off and the lower engine mount and pull the engine back and forth, also remove the steering colume heatsheilds. Have fun doing the bolts up. Also this should be in the "paid for" technical section |
