reason i'm askin is one of my mates has a 205 with an 8v turbo complete with 6 flywheel and hes asked me

hdi clutch definately 230mm, i know for a fact that the 235mm (from 406/xantia turbo) clutch doesnt fit.

hence why i'm unsure. The guy said he had spoken to Hi flow heads who had assured him it will fit...

PLUS 1 lol, had bad dealings with this head case before

as it turns out, my mate bought this clutch from him, was meant to be an uprated fast road replacement.

i checked the part numbers out at work and hey presto, its for a 306 hdi

the standard 215mm gti6 clutch seems to take more torque than the hdi clutch.

ok, i know this is old now but...

tried to fit the clutch and guess what, the pressure plate bolts are no where near in line

the 'chap' at hiflow said he would sell him an HDi flywheel lol, come on, heavy diesel flywheel on a petrol engine!!!???

this guy should really stick to his 'performance head modifications'

what? a standard gti6 valeo clutch?? hdi's making over 150 bhp will be producing 250+ ft of torque, its interesting

to know that off the shelf valeo's can handle that amount

Yes mate.

My gti6 had 275bhp with a standard clutch and was fine, I also ran it with 410bho for a little while yhen changed it for One with an uprated friction Plate.
